Are kids more intuitive?

I'm just wondering if you think kids can pick up on things we don't simply because they haven't "seen" as much.
Something awkward happened to me today.

This is my opinion, but I feel kids are more intuitive in general. Meaning they can see things that adults don't see because adults learn to block things out better. This is why kids are most apt to see spirits, whereas adults cannot. My mom told me that I used to tell her about the angel that I could see when I was a kid. I think adults learn to push things out of consciousness because they don't tend to make sense in the "real world", so therefor it is harder for us to be intuitive about other simple things. It's because we cannot make sense out of things, so therefor we choose not to believe it. Whereas kids don't have that feeling about what's normal or abnormal, so therefore they verbalize more things these can see. So in general, kids can pick up on spiritual things and non-verbal cues that most poeple don't pick up on. Plus, kids sometimes cannot express themselves very well either because they cannot talk or what not, so they tend to us their other senses more fluently. Just like a blind person cannot see, therefor his other senses are more advanced than those who can see.

I think some people are simply more intuitive than others.
