argue & I really want a relationship?

Every time I think I really want a of my friends r/ship hits  a rough spot and it reminds me of why I DO NOT want a r/ship

I think of the make up sex, but is ti really worth it?

Sometimes I just don't know.

Heather and Shy, I don´t broadcast either. I wish I could announce to friends and family that I really, really want a boyfriend, but it sounds a bit desperate and I have been letting on for years that I enjoy being single. But, perhaps I should change my "outward attitude" in case it actually helps?

I have had dates that did not have any chemistry from my side - friends set me up and I think it was mostly the fact that the guys were single too. One of them did not even make me laugh just a little bit, and a common sense of humour is one of my biggest "hang-ups". My friends know that!

It depends.  I think it's sometimes like networking for a job.  If you tell people you're interested in meeting someone, they might know a guy who is single.  But it also depends on whether your friends/family will taking into consideration what kind of guy you want or just set you up with any old single guy.  I don't think any of my married friends really know any single guys anyway so I wouldn't bother--and my few single girlfriends are looking for a guy for themselves.  But my cousin was fixed up by her uncle's SO with a guy she worked with.  They did go out for 2 yrs so it was a pretty good fix up--she ended it because I think she wanted to get more serious and at least proceed toward getting married but I think he liked the status quo of just dating.
