And inside, for that matter. April 1 and it's 84* in my house. I really don't like sweating, but I refuse to turn on the air yet. I sleep with a fan in the window, so I'm sure my bedroom will be cooler anyway.

I read something the other day that said that summer is the time of year when the least number of relationships are started. I think Christmas was when the most were begun. Why do you think that is? Is it the sweat? No one wants to be touched when they're sweaty? Or maybe just that summer seems like a time of freedom and no one wants to get tied down.

Thinking back, I don't think I've dated someone through the summer in a long time. I've started relationships in late July/early August, but I can't recall dating someone during the two months when I have the most time to date.

Here in Montreal, people seem to want to date in the summer. In my opinion, it's the best time to meet someone, because people take advantage of the hot weather and dress very sexy. I'm counting on finally meeting someone this summer, although historically I always started dating in late Sept.

I'm going to Miami this afternoon and will take advantage of the heat ! :)

I went to the park for a couple of hours yesterday and the mosquitoes were insane. Usually they don't start getting this bad until mid to late summer. Humans may not be getting busy this time of year but the bugs are - that's for sure!

I was thinking of you this am when I was going to work wearing my winter coat!

I think the study I read was from dating websites, but I'm not positive.

I'm pretty sure my covers are going to end up kicked off tonight and I'll wake up to the sound of the neighbor's yelpy dog since the window is open. I don't like any of my clothes right now, either. I don't want to buy new ones because I'm trying to lose weight, but it's soooo not working and my heel is still hurting (I've decided it's most likely a pulled Achilles tendon) so I can't exercise. Hopefully I can stick to eating better in the meantime. I haven't been so good this past week, though.

That's interesting about the dating--I'd think that summer time is when people are more happy & carefree and want to get outside so they would want to date.
