Being Alone

So I've been a little worried lately, I just ended a relationship I was in (not serious yet, we'd only been dating for 3 weeks) because I wasn't really enjoying it. I find though that I really enjoy spending time alone more often than with others. Like I'd rather just stay home read a book, watch a movie or take a bath than have someone over and do those things (most nights). I'm very independant and work quite a bit so in what free time I do have I prefer to just relax and not have to worry about anything. I'm a little scared though because I can't really picture myself ever being with someone all the time, like I don't mind dating someone and seeing them once or twice a week, but I need so many nights to myself as well, which obviously would not work in a marriage.... I wonder if this is just a stage, or if maybe I will be someone who never wants to get married. Has anyone been through something like this?

I feel the same way.
My SO and I are very independant and content with being alone and doing solitary activities (probably why our LDR is working). However when we are together, we cant get enough. We dont tire of each other easily and I think its because we respect each other's space and need for independence while knowing that we can always find each other too.
I think if you find a guy like that, you'll be ok and happy. As Shy said..its what makes you happy and if never getting married because you prefer to be alone, then so be it.
