Being superficial...

Ok so I had a talk today with a male guy friend of mine that I've had for a long time. He told me that I'm superficial because I only date good looking men. Well isn't it only natural to be attracted to these good looking men? I am very picky though and I also look for personality too. However, my friend asked me why I would never consider dating a less attractive guy and then my luck with men might change. He does have a point though, because the good looking men I have dated all seemed to either cheat on me or had intentions that I later found out about. So I'm just wondering do you all agree that good looking

Hey honey,
I think there are things that are non-negotiable when it comes to love. For me it is looks. I am attracted only to men who look like my brother. For a long time I denied it and was made to feel bad about it when I was a young girl. I am African american.I am extremely turned on by lighter skinned men. You know the Shemar Moore, Boris, River types. Now that I accept myself for all I am, I am no longer ashamed to tell people what my type is. I don't make any apologies for it either. There are some very good looking chocolate men out there, but they are not my preference.Just like there are black men who only date white women. It is a preference. Looks for me are non-negotiable. If he doesn't turn me on from the get-go, he doesn't have a chance with me. I refuse to be with someone I am not sexually attracted to. I would be settling for less if I did,and I deserve so much better. You deserve it to yourself and your future man.

I think it is - but this good looking and decent man won't have much money. Or, he will have a lot of money and will be a good person but won't be all that attractive. He could very well be very good looking AND have lots of money but it is highly unlikely that a man like this will be single and available for something other than a ONS. My point is, there is no such thing as 100%. Unless it's a 'romance' novel one has to keep one's expectations realistic, or resort to cats for company for
