Board mechanics - email notifications?

Why don't I get email notifications when there has been a new comment posted to threads i write or respond to? Am I missing something?

No I don't see those things. The posts are ordered by newest and I see that someone has posted 2 hours ago so then if I know I haven't been on line that there are new replies but otherwise It's not like the old one that said "3 new" or something like that.
They are still working on the email notifications. Many of us are waiting for that also.
Music, when I go to the list of posts I see the chat bubble with lines around it like a light bulb and I know there are new posts for me to read. Also it automatically jumps to the first new post and in the address line it has an ending of #new. You don't see that?
Did you try going to your profile, and my preferences, then chose the tab "Edit my preferences" , and make sure there is a check mark in the box "Sort topics by time of most recent post " ?
I stopped getting those before it even changed over, even though my profile said that I wanted them--couldn't figure that out.
Plus I noticed 2 other things. 1) you can't tell any more which postings you have read already cause it doesn't say "2 new) anymore--I just have to guess from the last time I was on. and when I got on a new post, it skips past the original post & I have to go back up.
I don't know if anyone is getting those looked for email notices. Very frustrating.
