Christmas lights

I don't know about you guys but I LOVE Christmas lights. There seem to be so many well decorated houses in my neck of the woods this year. One house in particular is covered in them. They live in a culdesac. You pull your car up to the house, tune your radio (there's a sign in the yard) to a designated station, and the lights blink and change colors in sync with approximately ten different Christmas jingles. It's sooo cool! I can't figure out how they did it? I guess the lights are wired up to a computer program or something?
I've already been three times and am going back again tonight. It's becoming an addiction! I don't know, something about the lights give me the warm fuzzies. I know, I'm easily entertained :O)

Last year at Thanksgiving, my sisters and I decided we needed to decorate my mom's house.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Last year my brother-in-law went out and bought a discombobulated array of decorations for their front yard. My sister promptly snuck out and returned most of them.
How sweet of you and your sister! I would imagine that that is hard work. I'll bet it looks great! My parents never did the lights thing growing up. That may be why I'm so smitten with them now.
Funny you should mention that. I'm so disappointed. I finally pulled mine out to hang in my window and I plugi them in and they aren't working now. I have the tree up and sparkling but I don't feel quite right unles I let the whole neighborhood now it's Xmasy at my place.
Poo!
I just found a link. I don't expect anyone to watch the whole thing, it's 14 minutes long, but this is set up just like the house I touched on in my original post. It's not smoke and mirrors, the lights are really blinking to the music:
