1. When you pick up pizza, which hand do you hold it in? Whichever hand is not holding the keys or the purse ; )
2. Who is the last person you said "I love you" to? My niece, Chelsea.
3. Post-its: Little ones or big ones? Medium or small
4. What is your favorite candle scent (that one's for you, Stacey!)? I just got out of a currant phase. I made myself sick on them! Now I'm into more earthy/musky scents.
5. If you won a fantastic vacation for two, who else would you take? Can I cheat and say that I would give the vacation to my parents. They are so good to us all, they deserve it! If I couldn't cheat, I guess I'd take my sister but I'm not sure, that's a tough one. I'd also be tempted to take my best friend.
Your parent is totally incorrect and just making excuses. I am left handed and I have very neat and nice handwriting. When I was growing up my grandfather often tried to get me to use my right hand until my mother scolded him and told him I was left handed and to stop it.
I often see left handed people with that weird tilt where they write in that almost crooked upside writing, I don't write like that and maybe it's because my mother accepted the fact that I wasn't right-handed and didn't try to get me to write like a righty. They make left handed notebooks with the spiral on the opposite side, maybe you could suggest it to the parent to buy for her daughter so she isn't bumping into it while she's learning to write.
Tell you what, if I win a fabulous vacation, I'll take you. :)
After my best friend's mom died unexpectedly in November, I am much more careful to always tell my parents I love them whenever I see them or talk to them. I'm not an overly gushy person, so never used to say it much, but I have realized how important it is to say it. Of course they KNOW I love them, but they need to hear it, too. I know you lost your dad, so you have first-hand experience like my friend does. It's such a difficult thing to lose someone too early.
I also now tell my friends I love them. I used to feel weird doing that, but I think it's just as important to say it to a friend as to a family member or SO.
I agree. My mom is a lefty and has some of the prettiest handwriting I've ever seen -- and she learned to write in the 40s, when it was less 'accepted' to be left handed.

My mom is the last person I said I love you to as well.
