I am not religious.... But sometimes I do believe in Fate. One never knows. However, luck has not struck me yet. Hope it will some day!

I think it is the same message. If we are living our lives to the fullest and making the most out of every day, we have positive energy around us, and we will attract people that are the same.

I skimmed something the other day along the same lines- about attracting someone, not chasing them.

I think that works well for women.

Well since I've been getting pretty bummed out about looking, maybe I'll just take that approach & see what happens.

Sounds like you had a really fun weekend!

I like to look at my horoscope, I love it when they are so far off

I have seen this exact sequence events happen for many people I know.

I've been sitting back and living my life for several years now, and nobody has magically appeared.

As someone who has done OLD for four years and did not gain a boyfriend from it, I can understand your frustration. It is depressing. I let my subscription run out in November, and have felt so much better. In December, I concentrated on having friends over and just enjoying activities I like. I have grown tired of looking, and of thinking about what is missing in my life; I want to concentrate on what I have rather than what I don't have. Don't get me wrong: I still want a man in my life. But I just don't want to always be thinking about it. I really do want to just "allow" it to happen. I think it helps to remember there was a time before OLD even existed. Right now I find the whole process of OLD so revolting, uncomfortable and unnatural, I have no desire to ever go back. Ironically, I heard from a guy I had met three years ago through OLD, and we went out a couple of times recently. I had a nice time, but I don't think we are really a match, much as I would like that to happen. So, here I am, just living my life, looking for deeper meaning, just "being more FloridaGirl." I do hope you meet someone in the second half of the year.
