I have one in particular that I see all the time at work events. I knew I was going to see him last week, and was all excited -- convinced I'd actually do something about it.
Nope, we exchanged glances all night but I never actually walked up to start a conversation. Sigh. But, then again, neither did he. Awkward at work events because there's a fine line between what's appropriate and not when coworkers and clients are around.
I think that's the problem with people you know you are going to see all the time -- you always think there's another chance to act, so you don't seize the moment.
