I opted to stay in, was recovering from a stomach flu and didn't want to risk it. I think I'll get out today, though. It's a wee bit chilly but the sky is blue and the sun is shining brightly! All the tulips are starting to sprout, the trees ... just a few more days 'till spring!! Yay!!

That sounds nice. I watched SNL . . . it was actually a pretty good show. Snow Patrol performed.

I stayed home too. Went to the bank and to lunch earlier in the afternoon, but that was it. I didn't wear green either myself. LOL

Taking it easy today too, catching up on stuff around the house.

No tulips sprouting here - we got about a foot of snow Friday night, even though just a few days before, it hit the low 70's.

I couldn't imagine getting snow this time of year. The weather has been all over the map here too except, no freezing precipitation.

Sounds like you had an eventful weekend! I always crave something really unhealthy, something fast food, the day after a party at which, I over indulged. I hope your dad gets out of the hospital soon. It was sweet of you to take him a treat ; ) I'm glad your party went well in lieu of the snow!! And P.S., I hate seeing "those pictures" too!! LOL. "I did WHAT!?"

It all finally melted last week, and now, it's ALL back.

I commend you for seemingly handling your dad's illness in stride. I'm sure it weighs heavy on you. My first cousin is in her forties and suffers from diabetes as well. Her kidneys are starting to give out and she will soon go on dialysis/a donor list. I will keep your dad in my thoughts and prayers!
