I seem to have problem with some men. I m serious , educated professional 30 y/o. But I also take good care of myself. I often watch what I eat,go to the gym and like to dress with style. I like to go to spas, yogas, do manicures... the regular stuff girls like to do but maybe a little bit more than average but it is all from my own $$.
I ve met 2 guys lately that seemed like a potential. They ended up acting in the same way which made me post here.
first guy was very interested, he even told me he had feelings for me!! but then one day we were on vacation with a group of friends and he made this comment "You take too much care of yourself" then couple of days later we were still with the same group he says outright: I hate people who take too much care of themselves!! I felt he said this to me personally... I did not comment but I felt bad. Then while still on vacation he had a problem and needed help and I was the only one who helped him (none of the ones he considers deep "simply because they are ugly!!" were there for him) so I dont know if he still hates me and people like me but I find it weird for the 2 men I was interested in lately to think that way. Why does it bother them so much!! especially that I dont hurt anyone I just like to eat healthy and go to the gym. I never ask anyone to come with me to gym or force them to go to restaurants of my choice!!! WTF! why cant they accept different lifestyles. mind you I dont care if the guy is not trendy or does not do YOGA! as long as he is interesting.
I wont go on a date with this guy again. It was just terrible to kind of tell everyone that he hates me and my likes!! but I m thinking now maybe I should just date guys who have the same lifetyle as mine which can be boring as a couple and hard to come by!
Does anyone feel the same way about people not willing to tolerate differences??
I always wanted to date someone a little different in terms of lifestyle but similar in terms of values. But it seems I have to stick to my own type!
