Yeah, you should just let him go - if not for your sake - for his sake. I would find it very hard to be involved with someone who had so many doubts about me. If that's the case I would say move on and find you happiness...ya know?

1. You don't feel comfortable around his friend and he doesn't feel comfortable around your dogs apparently.
