Hello friends!
You know how we all often hold a giant pity party for ourselves and one another here, right?

I have mixed feelings about these "Law of Attraction" things.
No; I am def. not a positive thinker although some days I feel like I am?
I have read a ton of self help books and some helped and some didnt..
Oh; I forgot to say that I have the dvd the secret.. I have watched it and try to follow the laws of attrraction to a certain extent.
A few years ago I made a vision board. On this board I cut out pictures of a condo and pasted it on the oak tag. I posted pictures of men, traveling, health, a new car, women friends, freelance business.
Fast forward and I do not live in a nice condo, I dont have a new car. Mine is 2004. I do have some women friends. I do date and have dated ...
The last trip I went on was Sept.2008 on a cruise..
I have no job and looks like slim pickins on that..
I have no
With men, I do believe there are good men left out there. It's hard to always feel good about myself, because I've been beat down a lot. It's very difficult to overlook and ignore the negative messages we get daily about our looks/weight/choices/whatever. I try very hard to do that, but it is the hardest thing for me.
Ironically, I have no faith, but I do have respect in the laws of physics.
I do believe that we do miss out on opportunities. I have done this myself and from now on
I think that's really the point, Marina.
As far as dating, it's not a guarantee that if we make an effort we will find someone.
Music you are right ..
There is hard work that must be done in life whether its a job, a business, a man.etc.etc. but is that what we are talking about here?
I have worked my butt of most of my life and have gotten things in return for it.. and I am a true believer in hard work.
But lets look at some statistics (see other post) There are some very rich and powerful and positive thinkers out there and they are homeless and without food and no jobs.. I can bet alot of them did alot of hard work and were positive so what happened?Did they stop thinking positive.. I think we have some control over things and then there are things we have no control over.
What about those Madoff victims??? They worked hard and now they are penniless... because they trusted a reputable hardworking man.. with their money..
I think my life revolves around hope. There is always love and hope around the corner. Without that we have nothing. Is that the same as positive thinking????
In theory, people who are homeless are not your primary concern.
