Hi. I just wonder if any of the women here can relate to having experienced total ARROGANCE from a man, in the vein of---yes, they might be attractive, but the assumption certain men seem to have,(thankfully not that many men like this!) that ALL women "want" them. I don't know how to put my finger on it, it is like ?? Maybe they have had women pursue them in the past, so whenever a woman so much as walks past them, they seem to assume that EVERY woman "wants" them.

I ask because we have some engineer here in my office, from a branch office out of our area, and it is so uncomfortable just walking past this twit, (I grant you, yes he is attractive, but the ARROGANCE!) I am getting to not even want to walk to the bathroom, not wanting to encounter him and his attitude...

Yes, I have . . . what is it about him that makes you want to go out of your way to avoid him though, I'm not sure I'm following 100%.

Thanks for the reply, no, I am not avoiding him for real, but I just FEEL like it. I guess I just hate having someone's self(whatever) projected onto me, or this attitude he exudes, as if he thinks he has to beat me off with a stick because I had to go past him to the copy room. Thanks for letting me know someone else knows this type.

I read on some single women's board in AOL a long time ago, someone wrote (this wasn't specifically about attractive men) but I remember her saying "why is it that men can be bald, fat, sloppy, etc. and still think they are god's gift, and yet women worry about being 5 - 10 pounds overweight?"

Maybe the man we're seeing isn't the same man he thinks he sees in the mirror every morning. Perhaps at one point in his life he was an Adonis and just has no idea how much things have changed.

That is one of my turn-offs about men and exactly why I'm starting to rethink this dating game. I seem to find men who are so full of themselves, it is sickening.
