I know you guys are right.

No; I said it wrong cause it wasnt exactly the guy I was jealous about but the fact that sis just has men fall in her lap.without doing any work in finding a man like we all have been for years..

yeah; I cant worry yet and thank you but not that it sounded harsh but sort of in a weird tone.. I was married and now divorced from a controlling man so you would think I would be more of an expert in it but its been 6 years of sep. and divorce so maybe I forgot some red flags. He wasnt joking that is for sure. He was pretty serious and talking to me like I was 5 years old. I didnt really pay much attention to it.. No he is def. not the type to want to speak to someone in a room if he is alone..

well dont know if you remember but

Well, with somewhat knowing your personality, I couldn't see you w/ a guy who is telling you what to do all the time.

I am playing devils advocate. Could it be that he's one of those people who can't be in a room with someone else, and not speak. Perhaps he couldn't think of anything else to talk about, and that was his way of acknowledging you/making conversation? Did he say it with a rude tone in his voice? He may have even been joking around with you and expected you to retort with something wry or witty.

I dated a guy for a while and I gladly did whatever he wanted because I really liked him. I also quit smoking for him. I had friends and relatives ask what was up because they'd never seen me behave this way. Like you, they thought he was controlling me behind the scenes. It wasn't the case at all. I was just madly in love. Try not to worry about it, Free :) I mean, unless he starts alienating her from the family or you see bruises or something...

So your sister is working hard to keep this guy LOL.

And that's what I meant by asking yourself if you would even want to be with this guy before feeling jealous. That's the thing about jealousy, we imagine that someone else has it better. I hope you're feeling better LOL.

I so agree Marina and I doubt sis will ever marry again.

I am trying so hard to find a place I can afford afford but so far nothing has come about yet and I hope and pray something changes otherwise it feels like a slow death of sorts.. but thanks for the encouraging words..

Keep going I guess no matter what but hope is waning.
