A couple of weeks ago I received a funny phone call from a guy I met on OLD last July. Here's the timeline of our interactions:
July: We had a date, liked each other. He cancelled the second date because he had to see his daughter, but I was unable to see him the week later. So he sent me an email saying that it can't be that hard to meet and that he's taking it as that I'm not interested or not over my ex. I explained him that it wasn't true and we had a second date. After that, we talked by phone, but my son was taking a bath and I told him I was going to call him back. I did, but no answer. And he didn't call back.
October: He calls me and tells me that he was busy starting his own business (he told me about it before) and if we could meet. I told him I was busy for the next 2 weeks

Not every guy has the social skills that would guide his actions.
I wouldn't have the patience for that kind of thing.
I dont know but I would meet him.. I mean what do you have to lose at this point?? Meet and have some fun and that is it.
I would though let this be the last chance .. If he cancels one
Free, this could be why I am single.
well I believe I have a different philosophy... I give a guy enough rope to hang himself..Sometimes life does get in the way of people meeting and its not the right time or place.. Fast forward and you never know what could happen? Maybe a different circumstance or whatever.. Why not take some chances.. There are people on facebook who reconnect after many many many years..
I mean there is nothing to lose if you just go on one date is there?? You never know that guy or girl could turn out okay.. You just dont know unless you try.. I mean if you didnt go to school you wouldnt get a job. If you didnt walk outside you wouldnt feel the air. If you didnt take a walk you wouldnt know what was out there. If you didnt do this or that you would just remain stagnant.. Am I making any sense?? I am not a good writer..
I mean if you are single and you have free time and nothing to lose why not?? Life is short ..
Sorry free...but a flake is a flake is a flake.
Ha ha
WEll I read the post again and I dont see anything harmful or anything.. Well that is me. We all have different views on this stuff and we agree to disagree I guess.
I believe I have led a more of a Bohemian dating and relationship lifestyle.. I have had my share of flakes..Flakes could be nice guys and you never know.. ??
But oh well to each his own.. (lol)
I see where you are coming from, and you're right...diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.
Actually I am pretty anal when it comes to dating. I absolutly want the guy to be consistenly interested, otherwise, I'm not. And in general, I think that when people dissapear (friends included), it's a clear sign that the're just not that interested and I get offended. Because even if life gets in a way, when you consider someone important, you let them know.
