A couple of weeks ago I received a funny phone call from a guy I met on OLD last July. Here's the timeline of our interactions:

July: We had a date, liked each other. He cancelled the second date because he had to see his daughter, but I was unable to see him the week later. So he sent me an email saying that it can't be that hard to meet and that he's taking it as that I'm not interested or not over my ex. I explained him that it wasn't true and we had a second date. After that, we talked by phone, but my son was taking a bath and I told him I was going to call him back. I did, but no answer. And he didn't call back.

October: He calls me and tells me that he was busy starting his own business (he told me about it before) and if we could meet. I told him I was busy for the next 2 weeks

That's exactly my philosophy, Anita. If they are truly interested, they'll find time, even if it's just an hour. The repeated disappearing act is a definite sign of not being intersected.

Did I read correctly that you told flakey guy you are in a relationship? If so, why are you dating?

So the flake didn't call back LOL. I'm kind of curious if that was his last appearance and he finally deleted my number or whether I'll hear from him again with some other excuse about his dissapearance.

I would be done. He sounds flakey and passive aggressive. But, it's up to you of course.

I don't chalk all this up to a lack of interest, but rather a lack of clarity and/or maturity on his part.
