I'm on another "I'm going to be skinny" kick, and trying to figure out what the heck people who are skinny eat and not be hungry all the time. So, here is my mini survey to help me grocery shopping.

1. What is your typical breakfast?

2. What is your typical lunch?

3. What is your typical dinner?

4. What do you snack on?

5. How often do you snack?

6. Do you count calories or even pay attention to them?

7. Would you consider yourself in shape?

8. What is your favorite healthy meal?

9. Do you think we're too obsessed with weight?

10. Exercise? Do you?


Folks, I need a kick in the butt to get myself to the gym lately. I USED to have a motivator to keep me going everyday, but he's deserted me during my most needed motivating times. ;-)

i bet the guys lost a lot of muscle, tho.

hey, did you notice how "well fed" they all looked in the aftermath episode?

nothing like starvation to make ya gain it all back and then some ;-)

I think you look just right (from what I can tell from your picture). You can eat that many calories b/c you exercise so much! That much bike riding would wear just about anyone out.

Me, I have to stick to around 1500 calories a day if I want to lose anything, plus lots of exercise. I struggle with both.

Still wish I were a guy sometimes.

Don't you know chocolate is a vegetable and ice cream is dairy?? Sounds healthy to me!

It varies depending on where I am and

how much time I have. Sometimes a bagel w/

veggie cream cheese, other times cereal or

oatmeal and yogurt w/ granola, other times

and egg sandwich, on special holidays and

some weekends more of an eggs, pancakes,

bacon, toast, hash browns kinda deal

2. What is your typical lunch?

Again.. all depends. Sometimes a sandwich,

sometimes fast food, sometimes just soup



3. What is your typical dinner?

If I have meat I try to include a salad, a

starch and a green vegetable or at least another

veggie that's not a starach. If I have pasta then

I have a salad with it... sometimes bread.



4. What do you snack on?

Any and everything. Sometimes junk food like chips,

ice cream, popcorn, chex mix, other times stuff like

fruit, dried fruit, etc.



5. How often do you snack?

A lot... I'm always eating a meal or snacking lol



6. Do you count calories or even pay attention to them?

Absolutely not



7. Would you consider yourself in shape?

Sort of... I'd like to gain weight if I could, but I've

tried time and time again and can't. But I'm not at an

unhealthy weight and I do watch a lot of what I eat to

make sure it is healthy.



8. What is your favorite healthy meal?

I'm not sure about a whole meal .. though I do love

steak (filet mignon- dont know how healthy that is!

lol) but I am in love w/ veggies and salads



9. Do you think we're too obsessed with weight?

Absolutely w/o a doubt



10. Exercise? Do you?

When I'm dancing on the team, I regularly exericse

b/c we regularly have practices. When I'm off, I don't

exercise too much. I'll walk to classes often instead

of taking a ride and I love doing abs so I will do that

on my own. I used to belong to a gym but I don't anymore.
