What's everyone up to this weekend?
I was supposed to go to the lake with my sisters, but it looks like we may just end up going shopping instead.

States like NH and Montana that don't have sales tax at all make up for it in property taxes - so it's really expensive to live there. I guess it all evens out in the wash.
Everything is taxed here, except "real" food at the grocery store -- veggies, fruits, meats, etc. Frozen dinners, snack (junk) foods, etc. are taxed. Our sales tax varies by county, but the average is about 7 percent. Unincorporated areas go as low as 3.5 percent.
AJ, enjoying life with C.
