Anyone who is questioning their relationship, or questioning a break up, should read this article.

Great article.

The point that really hit home with me is how a healthy relationship should be reciprical and mutual. I've found that 90% of my dating situations were NOT like this and consisted of me putting in all the effort to keep them and keep them happy while they just enjoyed what I gave. Til I got sick of it and left.

Which is why I remain single.

I was really hoping you'd read it given your difficultly getting over the last guy.

Thank you! It did actually make me feel better and I emailed a copy to myself.

What hit home was this:

When you first meet a man...you should feel that he wants you.

A healthy man says what he means and means what he says. And the words that he speaks are backed up by action that coincides.

If you are in the right relationship, it will feel reciprocal and mutual.

Thanks Shy!

Thanks so much for posting that, shy! My guy is healthy in a lot of ways, pursued me strongly and is really mature in many situations. But there have been some things in our relationship that have really nagged at me. This article gave voice to them and helps me understand in a concrete way why I've felt that way.
Thanks again!
