Little kids have this amazing power to make any bad or blah day better. I love that.
I currently have two voice mail messages from my nephews saved for just that reason -- one is my oldest nephew (9) playing the saxophone for me. The other is my youngest nephew (5 yesterday) saying "Auntie TG, I love you." I replay them whenever I'm in a bad mood, and I'm instantly better. :)
Kids are definately healing. I have a message saved from my little niece giggling in the background as my sister is tickling her and it makes me feel good to replay it. She can't talk much yet since she's only a year and a half but when she is able to talk and tell me she loves me it's going to melt my heart, I can't wait.
Sometimes, I just sit and listen to kids in my class talk about stuff (usually when they're supposed to be working) and I hear some of the strangest things.
Little kids are cute... when they're not yours and you don't have to take care of them.
See how cute you think they are when you're baby sitting and have to get them away from the Playstation to bed or clean up after they've thrown up 2 giant bowls of Fruit Loops they snuck from the cubbort.
Kids are definatley funny about things and very honest too at times. They don't care what others think, they just do what makes them happy. I think they are so entertaining and fun to just observe. I bet your job is very rewarding, challenging but rewarding.

You're kidding, her imaginary friend's name is Bob Saget? That's great . . .
I probably spend too much time with my nieces. If I'm not with one set on the weekends, I'm with the other two girls. They are endless entertainment!
