Some department stores and specialty stores have them on staff and, depending on where you live, you may be able to find freelancers. I know that there are a ton of personal shoppers in Chicago. I have utilized one on the rare occasion at Nordstrom - she's great. But I love to shop and usually prefer to do it on my own.

What do you need help with?

"What do you need help with?"

I can't dress myself! :p

Okay I can but I don't think I do it very well! :-S I need someone to help me figure out what things would look best on my body type and how to not make things look worse! :p

Maybe I'll try to find a department store around here and see if they have a personal shopper available. Thanks!

If you find one, let me know (assuming it's a chain that's also in Denver). I could use the same thing. I HATE HATE HATE shopping, and it would be so nice to just have someone say what looks good on me and what to buy. :)

If you care to share where you live (or the closets metropolis) I bet you could get some direction on a specific store or shopper.

I'd be very wary of anyone working on commission. I did it for a very posh store, and we had to push sales no matter how bad something looked on a woman.
