I think caviar just sounds gross! But that's just me. Too fussy. I like my chicken breasts or veggie burgers.
I'm kind of an ordinary girl looking for an ordinary guy. I do have baggage, mostly from childhood, but I think we all do. The trick is finding someone you like who likes you back who you're attracted to and who is available that can handle your baggage and has baggage that's manageable for you. (Now that was a long rambling sentence!)
As much "nothing"? I wasn't writing about the richness of my daily life - I was bringing up the issue of waiting...and waiting...for someone to show up.

"I could be a lot happier being single even though there are times of loneliness."
I have a girlfriend who absolutely cannot be alone. She hops from guy to guy to guy. She's monogamous, too. She'll only date one at a time. I just have never been that girl. Maybe because I had a long awkward teenaged span where I just wasn't very attractive thus, had no boyfriends...thus, had to be okay with being alone? I just don't understand that mindset where girls just have to have someone. I'm not knocking it, as I love my friend dearly. I just don't know what that's like...

Don't you crave female companionship?
From the way, you described your life, it feels "empty" to me.
Actually no, I don't think it's a good idea to lower your standards to be w/ someone you don't want to be with just so you can have "just anyone."
