Because of my distinct lack of confidence (although being a student) it prevents me from enjoying the singly life at uni! in my lectures i am mad about a certain student, although he doesn't no this and probably never will at the rate im going!

It starting to annoy me, ive thought of ways i could try and get chattin to him but we have no reason to talk to each other sometimes we have the odd word, hes a very friendly character and speaks to anyone really but just because of where we sit and our friendship groups we don't talk, how do i appraoch him i never have gone out of my way to get to know someone i like because im so unconfident, is there anyway i could perhaps send him signals? lets just say smilin is as far as ive got,

Please Help!

Just make eye contact and smile, maybe say hi if you're close enough.

Try sitting next to him the next time you have class together and find an excuse to ask him a question, ask to borrow a pen, or make a comment about the lecture topic.

Then, eye contact and a nice smile go a long way to letting someone know you like him.

Also remember that he's just human, like you. So, try not to be intimidated or place him up on a pedestel. Just talk to him. :)

Good luck.

AJ, enjoying life with C.

You may not remember the show, Ally McBeal, but there was a male character on there who was not the most confident person. When he wanted to ooze charm, confidence and sexuality, he would channel Barry White.

Think of a confident female you admire and fake it : ) I do it all the time! Ask him about school, a class, ask him if he'd like to get together to study or you could come right out and invite him to join you for a coffee or something.
