Do you think that a lot of men make this assumption?

In my experience, truly good looking and hot women I don't go for because they typically tend to be arrogant, obnxious and have a string of women chasing them so I usually keep on walking. I've been more attracted to average looking guys with strong personalities. AND they have been great in bed.
*******
I tend to agree with this regarding "hot" women as well. The "arrogance" just oozes out of them. That frankly can make for "bad" sex. "Good" sex requires participation, not poses. LOL Eye candy is sometimes just that, fun to look at, but not necessarily "attractive". If you want to factor looks in for "me" . . .show me that really attractive girl that just doesn't seem to know she is really attractive! That I admit is kind of hot. (-:

I saw a thing on the discovery channel one time about this stuff. They took pictures into the rainforest in South America, no TV's or anything to "set the standards". The pictures were just black outlines of body types, just shapes. The men in these isolated tribes picked the same body types as the men in New York did. Same with the women. The men in the tribes said things like "good child bearing hips" . . anyway . . I truly believe we are all pre programmed a little bit. Running after "hot" is our pre-programming state and is "natural". "Thinking" and picking someone we can actually live with is an un-natural act. (-: We were programmed to survive, not to be happy.

My personal experience, average girls are far more fun in private moments. That probably is not rocket science. I am an average guy, people who are "comfortable" with each other tend to relax and enjoy one another's company. (-:

We in America do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate.

Actually I think Pam looks much better when she looks natural, she looks like a cartoon character any other time.

Actually, I think she looks bad at ALL times. :) But that's just me.

I still don't get the fascination with blondes, but oh well. I guess it's all a matter of taste and attraction. It's just funny to me, since there are really not very many natural blondes out there. At least in the US. Maybe it's BECAUSE there are so few that it's a distinguishing trait, although in Boston anyway, there are more dyed blondes than I can count. I'm content being a brunette, thank you. :) Actually I'm considering dying my hair darker....

No, I don't think men make that assumption. I don't think sex "quality" enters the calculation when evaluating someone you have never had sex with. All other things being equal (you don't know what people are like in bed), men prefer better-looking women. Is that so unreasonable? If there were a quick way to identify sexual skills, maybe men would use that.

Well I'm content being a brunette too but that's neither here nor there. Men especially in our neck of the woods (New England) are fascinated with blondes because it's not the norm. Brunettes are a dime a dozen out here, now when I lived in California amongst all the blondes, I got paid a lot more attention too. I guess it's because I was different from the norm.

Good Looking => arrogance, is a myth. There is no correlation at least from my experience. In fact more often I have found the opposite to be true. The most attractive women, and especially blonds, tend to be friendlier and more approachable than those who are clearly not top tier, or even second. I suppose it's because they are comfortable in their own skin (wonder why) and don't feel the need to put others down to feel better. Blonds also smile more and seem to be happier. Amazing how hair pigment can affect personality.

Barbie doll or plastic might be the words you are looking for. Some one who is all surface and no substance, regardless of hair color, sex, or physical appearance.

Well what can you do. Not everyone is born lucky. And the only thing worse than a redhead/ brunette is a fake blond. If you really want to be blond (as most non blonds secretly do), pray to be reborn as one in your next life. :)

(Just kidding !)

My best friend and I were having this discussion the other night about men. From our experience (and this is generally, speaking not set in stone) the "hotter" the guy, the less entertaining the entertainment. Most of these gentlemen had the mind set of "you should be honored to be near me." Heaven forbid mentioning a new technique to one of them. Everyone else was happy, what's wrong with you? Where as the "boy next door" average guys tend to be better in and out of bed. As in three dimensional people who had more to them than "being seen." Not all attractive people are like this, that is just the experience of the two of us.
