Is this really a new thing?  I mean women have been out in the work force in a major way at least since the 60's and the rise of feminism then.  I graduated from college in 1979 and already women weren't thinking about getting married right out of college because they needed to get married to have money--some were still doing it out of love of course.  Of course I think it's good that women can support themselves and don't have to depend on a guy but I don't think it's any new "trend" or that it means that women don't still want relationships.

What I did find interesting in this article was that they said that OLD was dying out because more people want to meet in person.
