I have visions of my co-worker and guy friend having a one night fling......
It's so hard. You see, I worked with this guy, we became friends, I confessed I liked him, he confessed he doesn't and still talks to and sees his ex-fiance (they were engaged for 2 years, broke up and still talk)...
....so I stopped liking him for a while, had a crush on other guys. We hung out and talked about dates we've been on with other people. Now we recently had a discussion about sex in general, so he mentioned he hooked up with my co-worker.... well I told him I hooked up with the singer in my friend's band first, but still, he hooked up with my co-worker :(
I quit the job long before he told me, and I wasn't really good friends with her. We lost touch since I quit, but I still think about the vision of them together.
Would this bother anyone else? I mean, I saw them talking a lot when I worked there, but all the guys and girls talked with each other and I thought nothing of it, until now........AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!
How do I get this out of my mind??? Thanks.

I'm guessing you're thinking "why her and not me - what's wrong with me?" Am I right?
We all have those thoughts, and the answer is "nothing." So, they had a little fling or a one-night hookup -- that doesn't mean he really thinks much of her. If he was still hung up on his ex-fiancee, then it's better for you that YOU didn't hook up with him. You would have ended up even more hurt.
I definitely understand why you're upset, and a lot of us would be in your shoes. The best thing to do is to not dwell on this guy or the information he shared. Get yourself out there among other people and try to move on.
Hang in there!
