How to get over someone you never had?

I was chatting to a guy I worked with on facebook & it developed in to sexting on one occasion. I had jut come out of a long term relationship so was not ready for a full blown relationship. I knew he had a sort of girlfriend in chile (how he described her) but we live in the uk & he goes to chile every couple of years so didn't think it was serious. He has just come back from 3 weeks in chile & this morning announced on facebook that he is engaged.

Well it sounds like he was turned on and his gf probably wasn't online or available by phone so he used you to satisfy his urges until he got to see her. Why he couldn't just use porn like every other guy who knows. His apologizing makes me think that he knew he had no business doing that with you and really wants to be with Ms. Chile. Ok so things went to far and he is not available. Leave that man alone! If you're open to dating then focus on getting out there otherwise go back to your regularly scheduled life.
