How many of you plan to stay single forever?

It's something I've considered at varying points as well. I really REALLY like my independance and being able to do my own thing whenever I want to. Add to that that most of my hobbies are one-person activities and it makes it harder to really build up a desire to be in a relationship.

But at the same time, I think if the right person came along, I'd find that I'd rather spend time with them doing whatever than time by myself doing my things so for me, I think it's just staying single until I do meet my match. I definitely will not ever date just for the sake of dating.

No I would not date for the sake of dating either.

I had gotten out of something bad and needed a break and just started getting back into it

Not really sure if i'm liking it or not but we'll see.

Not a wise thing to do if you want a proper burial.

I do not plan for it but I understand that I cannot control everything that happens in life so it is a possibility that I make be single and I'm okay with that possibility.

Do I love being in a good relationship - of course!

Do I think that equates marriage? Nope.

'Single' as in never marry or never have a bf for the rest of your life?

If it's the first one then yep, that's me, bf and I are both 100% anti marriage; if second...IMHO, if you are human and have a heart, a soul and red blood in your veins you can't 'plan to stay single forever'. You will say to yourself 'It is a possibility and I will be able to live with it if that happens to me' as a way of covering up the real feelings about it - 'I

Lighten up. It's Dark Humor. And to answer your question, I will have to say I don't know what you are talking about.

As for the OP, not by choice. Prolonged singlehood causes nervous problems. But I think it's better to find the right partner before entering into a relationship rather than jumping from STR to STR just to avoid being single. The mind and body take time to adjust to whatever relationship status you are in. Frequently changing that status can be more stressful than long periods of singlehood.
