For those of you girls with an, ahem, less than innocent past, how much do you tell a man?

I tend to just say, "Eh...I've had my share of fun, made some bad decisions, but nothing too wild." And that's absolutely the truth, without really telling the truth.

Good for you for not picking up. I wouldn't have either.

I think I'd answer the "have you ever?" question with "why do you want to know?"

I would say its on a need to know basis.. and being a reformed bad girl of sorts it would depend on the guy I was with.

As we speak now today I wouldnt reveal too much unless I was in a committed full blown relationship and unless I had a disease that I had to divulge and it could hurt someone else..

I have read though that it is our past is no one's business and we should only give out information we want to.

You know, Free, as an unreformed bad girl, I think they sometimes pick up that I am more experienced than they are.

oh; so that makes it a bit more challenging and I get that.. sounds more like a sex and city Samantha Jones situation (lol)

You know what I think I might do?? If I was with a man who was less experienced and didnt have the sexual experience I had or wasnt as adventurous as me I would probably tone it down a bit if I liked him.. As long as my sexual needs were getting met he doesnt have to know I was a wild girl. :smileysurprised:

If you're really interested into this guy than you might as well tell him the truth. Because if it leads into something he will find out and might not trust you again. (Everything in the DARK, comes to the LIGHT!) But if its something casual than tell him but not the whole truth. Also it depends on what he is asking, if its something you never wanna talk about or relive than tell him you don't wanna talk about it.

This is a very interesting question. I think it depends on the guy. My ex knoew very little about my past, and he was not that curious. Now, I thought I was pretty wild and adventurous until I met my SO. He is very open about his experiences and wants to know all about mine. He is not judgemental in he least, for him it is turn on. Okay, just about everything with him is, but he cracks me up when he teases me about being such a "bad" girl :)
