I agree--it seems odd to ask someone you haven't seen in many years to your house instead of meeting out somewhere.

That is very interesting and will do.

Actually this guy was married for a long time and divorced a long time. He has three sons and was living in Calif. for a very very long time.. and decided to come back to NY for reasons unknown to me. I think it was for him to sell a condo he had here.

We were talking IM on facebook on and off for about a year .. He has been in NY since last summer..and I actually never thought he wanted to get together face to face.. I so wish I could remember something about him? How funny is this? He had our HS year book.. I went to a very bad school in the hood.. and we didnt have a graduation or anything. He managed to buy a yearbook in most of us couldnt afford. Anyway; He sent me some pictures of the kids in our class.. I thought that was nice.

Only thing I was thinking is that he might be very lonely although he does have some old friends he reconnected with. that is what he said or maybe I have become this big mystery and he wants to talk. Maybe its closure..

I wish for the life of me I could remember something about him? he even remembers my gfriends and what we wore in those days. Maybe he wants to kick my butt for dissing him in HS (lol)

thanks guys

I solved the dilemma of HS crush guy.

I asked him if he was making lunch for me .. He said no we can meet for lunch.. I said okay.. sounds good.

I just wish I could remember something from High School . Only thing I remember are riots , gangs, drugs, bad people.. He remembers alot.. He even was telling me about an old army and navy store his parents owned.. He said he used to see me and my friends there? what??? Have no clue on that.

well? One problem solved and now a million more to go.

Gosh I expect these tacky invites from guys my age, but to knowing that you're older than me and older guys still do them is really disappointing.

Well, if he lived in CA he's definitely cool - and certainly a keeper.

If this is his idea of a date, then I would be weary. However, maybe to him, it's just a friendly, let's hang out and chill...get reacquainted type of thing...but yeah, when there is definitely some strong flirtation going on between myself and a guy and he's saying things that lead me to believe he's genuinely interested and just when I think he's going to ask me out on a proper date, he says: "Come over." um, no.

I kept reading and saw where you'd solved your dilemma.

oh; MY.. Yes he has been talking to me on facebook since last year because he was living in San Francisco.. He has moved back to NY and he has actually said that he had a crush on me..

Yes; you are right in that I didnt even know he liked me in HS.. Last night he wrote me a note and said to me ,Y ou know you should have taken a chance on me.. and we could have been together. whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway;; He said it would be fun to catch up so we will do lunch and hang out.. It will be fun.. Maybe we can do some sightseeing in the old neighborhood... I do live really close to where he lives now. but I am not the type of person to live in the past but hey if not him maybe he has single friends..

thanks .. You always have good insight.
