You know how some people are just so happy all the time and bubbly and cheery and just fabulous all the time?

I wouldn't call myself bipolar exactly, but I can be all over the place. While I am not bubbly and cheery, I am extremely type-A and high energy. "ADD" is my nickname at work. When I am in a bad mood, on the other hand, it is difficult for me to hide it. I am not sullen or cranky, my nature is to be a happy person. I still greet everyone with a smile. But my energy level slows down and, when people are used to me talking a mile an minute and returning their emails within 30 seconds, a slow down seems pretty dramatic.

I'm pretty bubbly, cheery, and giggly most of the time.

I'm not bubbly but I'm generally very happy. I'm often asked "what are you smiling about?" and usually, it's nothing in particular. But overall, I'm cheery. I get excited about goofy stuff, greet people enthusiastically and laugh a lot. Even still, I'm pretty laid back so cheery yes, bubbly no.

I don't know anyone who couldn't go for a three day nap once in a while though :)

I can't hide it when I'm having a bad day either.

Giggly people nauseate me. My mother was always relieved that I was not a giggly girl. She has to deal with the giggly girls my brother dates and its always been a challenge for her.

Not saying we're depressed people because we are not. I just take a more laid back but straight forward point of view. I am a bit high strung but in a laid back way...does that make sense? When Jules was describing how she is at work...thats me too. But I don't see that as cheery or giggly. I see that as lets get down to business and get the stuff done.

And I can't hide my mood either. Everybody knows when I'm happy and when I'm crabby. But they also have a hard time figuring out if I am happy because I don't jump on couches or giggly like a school girl either.

Does that make sense? Probably not...I'm procrastinating right now as I am supposed to be writing a paper on marriage.

I try to be cheery and more outgoing, but i'm really more laid back. I find it's easier to meet people when i put on that cheery-hat. It's often exhausting, but i get plenty of laid-back time when i'm not out trying to meet people.

Are you sick? That can make it really tough to be in a good mood or even want to. I went through some health stuff about a year and a half ago and it was really hard on my mood. I, too, have a hard time hiding my real feelings but when I was sick, I didn't even care to try. I was just curious, you don't have to reveal your personal health issues. Just wanted to let you know that if this were the case, I can identify.
