FWB is so tempting but I won't go there.

Since he has made it clear that we are not in a relationship anymore, I have maintained no contact.

I am going to enjoy singlehood. Last night I lay in bed and read a magazine. I bought some old movies which I am going to watch with my parents.

xxxs, I went back to Fiji in August for a short visit. It was really fun catching with old friends.

I never believed in chasing after men. A relationship shouldn't be one sided. If he's not interested and you're chasing him, he'll just stay there because it's easy, not because he really wants to be with you. I would only fight for a relationship that's been there for a while and that used to be good.

Thank you Sireanita for the book recommendation. I will check out the one by Dr Phil.

I agree with what you say about start looking else once they have indicated that they are not interested in continuing.

However, a friend's gf suggested I chased him. That was what happened to them. She was the one who the initiatives and come visiting him when she moved to another city. They been together 2 years now.

So I thought I give this relationship a little fight. In the end, it was useless.

oh well, it is what it is.

I'm sorry too Misslynn. I also in a sense "wasted" 5 months (in the sense that it wasn't going anywhere serious), but at least it was my decision. It sucks when a relationship doesn't work.

I bought a book called "Is he Mr. Right" by Mira Kirshenbaum, there's also a book by Dr Phil called "Love smart". In those 2 books, they give advice on how to analyze your new relationship with a man to see whether it's worth putting more energy in it or not. Maybe it could be helpful to you.

And please, don't concentrate on your age. There's nothing you can do about it and thinking of it will only make you more desperate and sad. Try to concentrate on the good things about yourself and your life. We're on the same boat !

In my experience, it's not a good idea to expect someone to change their mind. As soon as they somehow indicate to you that they don't want a relationship, believe them ! And start looking elsewhere.
