I feel like a fierce werewolf

For some time I have had excess hair on my breasts, which I have plucked. Obviously the growth is now heavier and I am very embarrassed to ask for help and not sure where to turn.

In addition the plucking has made the area very red and it sometimes bleeds. I would like to know if my actions have caused any permanent damage and what steps I can take to permanently get rid of this horrible unwanted hair.

I do not have excess hair anywhere else but the problem is affecting my confidence and my relationship with my long-term boyfriend.

Suggestions? I'm worried about the next fullmoon.

More than likely it's changes in hormone levels. It's hard to determine this since we don't know how old you are.

But I know I have this somewhat. (Okay - I know - TMI. Sorry - I'm trying to relate, dammit.)

Some of us go through this as our hormones change and our estrogen levels drop and testosterone levels rise. If it's excessive and you're still quite young (like in your 20s) you may want to get your levels checked out by a doctor. Usually it's nothing serious - just something you should be aware of.

Hey there,

Are you on the pill? This may cause it. Again, don't know your age. If you can talk to your gynecologist or go to Planned Parenthood.
