It is the sore muscles and the fact I don't sleep like I want to.

Don't get implants, Anita! I'm sure they are fine just the way they are. My shallow coworker (I've posted about her before) has them and it hurts to hug her! It feels like she has boulders in her chest.

Free, I don't think 8 years is that big of deal post 50. Heck, I'd even date a mature 27 year old, so I wouldn't worry about him thinking you're too old.

I have birds that apparently built a nest in my gutters right outside my bedroom window and they are flying back & forth to the house--they don't wake me up every day, mainly because I have to wake up early during the week, but on weekend when I am looking forward to sleeping later, it annoys me.

We celebrated my BIL's 50th bday a couple of weeks ago. One of my nieces exclaimed: "Hey, Aunt _____ will be turning 40 this year!" I think she was expecting me to recoil in disgust but I just looked at her and said: "Well, I don't feel it - that's all that matters." She said that I didn't look it either, but that's debatable...

Nothing like a rainy day and arthritis to snap ya back to reality though :)

I know about FEELING old. I'm often tired too, at night, but I wake up early and can't fall asleep anymore. I've never been an early bird, I HATE getting up early, but it looks like I can't sleep in the morning anymore. But because I'm single and I have a child, no matter how tired I am, I feel that I have to do things with him and I have to go out, so I never actually get time to be alone and relax. My appartment is a mess, because I just have no energy to clean and order it.

Last year, I've became friends with a group of girls, with ages ranging from 24 to 28, and it feels so strange that I'm 10 years older than the youngest one !

I wouldn't mind taking some of your fat for my boobs lol. Lately I started thinking if I shouldn't get small implants. OMG, I've always been against surgery ! I'm so scared of anything medical and here I am thinking about that. And I decided to do some relatively expensive treatments for the skin, me, who never cared about creams and all that.

I'm thinking maybe something is not working with your weight loss plan. Maybe signing up for the gym and being followed by a personal trainer would help you to achieve your goals ?

Have you had your thyroid checked? Two of the symptoms of low thyroid are being tired and inability to lose weight. It's easy to treat: just a pill every day.
