I hate this day!

So much pressure to have plans. If you do have plans, there's pressure to make them spectacular. I've been home and in bed by 11 (to avoid knowing it's midnight, except fireworks always wake me up) for the past four years. I'm sure tonight will be the same.
Please help keep me from being depressed today! Who else is home alone with no one to kiss at midnight?

I'm hating this day as well. I have a gathering that I feel pretty obligated to attend that I think is also going to involve a set- up attempt. Since I'll have to drive home, I won't be able to drink enough to relax and get through it. To be honest, I'd much rather stay home and watch movies, but I can't think of an excuse to get out of it that won't sound like a complete lie.

YOu need to make a nice meal that you like, get warm and toasty. Do you have a ready gf to call? So get you nice meal ready with some champagn and a gf on the phone! That sounds like fun to me.
