I love attention

I hate being the center of attention in a large group, but there's something about having the attention of a man...or a few men...to make a woman feel attractive. We celebrated a friend's 30th birthday last night and ended up sitting right by the stage. There were several women there obviously dressed to get the attention of the men in the bar. Many of them were desperately trying to get the attention of the lead singer in the band. He was hot. He was also ignoring them. It didn't take long before I noticed one of the guitar players eyeing me. I caught him several times even. Later on, the lead singer and I began having moments...prolonged eye contact, smiles...he was yummy. I never talked to him, and the guitar player was married, so nothing came of it. That doesn't really matter, though. Sometimes the attention is all that matters. Someone should tell the sexy dancing girls that were there that sometimes subtlety works much better!
