Do people not sleep anymore??? I am SO tired right now, but I don't want to go to sleep. First of all, the men who live above me are being LOUD. Actually, all I hear is one man, some moaning and a dog. YIKES! There's also some stomping and the occasional vocal outburst. Maybe since he's up late, he won't wake me up at 5am in the morning like he has been.

But, of course, then I have the laundry people. My apartment is right on the fire wall next to the laundry room. People have to go through the fire door to get to the machines. (OH, more moaning upstairs..ick!) I hear the slamming all through the night about once or twice a week or so.

Of course, if I do go to sleep, I know it'll be a restless sleep. The subject in my dreams seems to be the same lately. I'm trying to stay away from the news, but it doesn't seem to be helping. I remember waking up last night from a dream. In my dream, someone or something had jumped across my bed from one side of me to the other. I was terrified and couldn't open my eyes. I tried to scream for help, but my voice wouldn't work. I tried again, and I got out a normal "help", but no scream. After some struggling, I finally got my eyes open. That's all I remember about that dream. The others weren't pleasant either, though.

I just really don't want to go to sleep right now....but my eyes won't stay open!

ugh. sounds like you're having a tough time. not getting good sleep can just ruin one's mood...


hope you find a affable solution with the guy upstairs...

Maybe your body is so used to this ruten that it stays comfortable with not going to sleep and is used to staying up on the weekends. I am so used to getting up in the moring so early that I can never sleep in anymore. Maybe you should start a new schedule of sleep time
