i need some advice!

Hey all,

I am in need of some advice on a situation that I am in. Well almost two weeks ago I met this guy when I was out with some friends. Ya know how it goes, I met him out at the bars we talked for awhile, ended up exchanging phone numbers, but I honestly didnt think that I would ever hear from him again. Well, I've been out of town for a week and just got home tonight...his number was on my caller id. He called me a week ago tomorrow, no message.

My question is....do I call??? This guy was really awesome...i was both attracted to him physically, and we had a really awesome conversation. We had so much in common!! I would love to call him and maybe go out and all that, but I am NEVER the one to go after the guy. But my question is that if he wanted to talk to me why didnt he leave a message? Why did he only call that once? Maybe he called my number by accident? I am thinking of every reason of why he could have called me besides that he might be calling to talk to me, go out.

I want to call him but I dont wanna make a fool out of myself, what would I even say to him??

Thanks, any advice is GREATLY appreciated.

Go ahead and call him. I've called plenty of people and not left messages. If he's like me, he hates answering machines (the whole voice on tape to be played over and over thing). He didn't call again b/c he probably figured you'd see his number and call back. If he had called again, you might have seen him as "clingy" and not called back (wasn't that movie Swingers where the guy called over and over?).

Call him back and just tell him you saw his number and go from there.

Let us know how it goes!

Call him. What harm could it do? If you met this guy in a bar, how likely is it that you'll just run into him again? So, if you don't call, you might not get a chance with him again. If you do call, and he's not interested, you probably won't run into him again anyway, so don't worry about any potential embarrassment. After one call, though, I'd leave it to him to make the next move.
