I saw my 1st Christmas Tree in a home...

I saw my first Christmas tree in someone's front window of their house. I guess it's up for Thanksgiving. They have the wreath on the door and everything. I didn't know they were even selling Christmas Trees yet.
I cracked up when I saw it. I mean what happened to the 12 days of Christmas. Original tradition, the Christmas tree was actually set up on Christmas Eve and taken down on the 6th Jan.
I don't know if I would want a Christmas tree in my house for nearly two months. Next thing we know the lights will be up. I mean my city already has Christmas lights going. I love Christmas, but I don't need it for a 1/3 of the year. ROFL

We always decorate Thanksgiving weekend - the weather is usually not hideous, and it's a long holiday weekend, so there's lots of time to do it all.
But I do pass a house on my way home from work every day - as soon as Halloween was over, down came the giant Tigger vampire, and up went the giant Santa and reindeer.
I love Christmas - in fact, I'd love to have a year round Christmas shop.
Okay, I have to admit: I'm planning on putting up my tree either tonight or tomorrow night, depending on other plans.
I'll give you something even more to ponder in regards to people who put up trees so early...get this...I have a beautiful faux tree (about 4' 5" tall) and I put it up the day that the time changed, the day that daylight savings went away.
My tree, lights and all, has been up for a week!
Hey! How have you been?
Heya, I'm pretty good, thanks.
I just got mine up and am already having issues with it.
You don't enjoy Wally World either, aye?
