I want to crawl into a cave and curl up in my pajamas until everything has just gone away.

My 17 year-old niece who has now dropped out of high school twice, moved in with her boyfriend and then back in with her mom, and who smokes- now thinks she's pregnant.

My 15 year-old sister is associating herself with less than stellar friends.

Wow, shy, that is way too much to be going through your head right now. I'm sorry to hear about all that. I don't know what made me pop in tonight but you vent away, girl. You have good reason.
Best of luck with the school stuff and the work stuff- I'm sure your play will be very good.

Poor Shy. I'm usually a lurker, but I thought I would hop out of lurkdom to give you a big ole virtual **hug**. I hope things get better for you soon.

Shy, I think it's great that you have retained your humor! Conquer one thing at a time. Prioritize. You'll have that list knocked out in no time.

As for your family. I can relate and I am sorry that things appear so grim. I hope that your niece is NOT pregnant! However, if she is, I'm sure that she'll be able to find a way to make it work. She'll have no other choice. Maybe she will grow up while also giving your little sister an opportunity re-evaluate some of her own bad habits/influences. Kudos to you for being a present/caring family member and a good example to boot!

Good luck with your school work and the Christmas play : )

Doesn't it sometimes seem like everything comes at us all at once? It would be so much easier to handle one at a time, eh?

Hang in there, and good for you for baking. I bake when I'm stressed, too. Works wonders, doesn't it?

{{HUGS}}

AJ, enjoying life with C.

Wow, shy, when it rains it pours, huh? You are certainly entitled to that mental health day.

Email me again... let me know if it doesn't work.

Thanks,
Lesley

Oh...and as for the falling thing...yeah, so for some reason, I just can't ever stop accidentally hitting my head on things...and last night was one of those times.
