You will not lose weight by walking. It's one of these great myths out there. There are only two ways to lose weight.
1. Intense cardio for an hour at least 4 times a week.
2. Severely restricting calories.
3. Combination of both for fastest result.
#2 will work regardless of #1. Walking burns only as many calories as maybe a small oreo. So if you come back home and eat a small cookie, it's as if you never went for the walk at all. Cardio reduces weight by keeping your metabolic rate up even during resting - which is when the real fat burning takes place.

Toss the scale and buy a mirror, mussel weighs more than fat.
Any pro body builder would offer the same advise.
And where did you get your degree in nutrition?
Yes, muscle does weigh more than fat.

That's not true.
Also - the body will resist losing fat at all costs.
