Where did you hear that? No, TJ's is a great place to stock up on stuff like nuts, spices, coffee, etc--much better prices than regular grocery stores!

Well, then, I've been totally depriving myself!

What on Earth is she comparing it to?? No, I love Trader Joe's and swear by it, it's the only place I'll go shopping now. Their three-dollar wine is famous for being cheap and GOOD...products that I see in Shaw's or Stop and Shop are at least a dollar cheaper at TJ's and the quality is so much better.

I rave almost to the point of being annoying about Trader Joe's, but it's THAT good. :) Their prepared/frozen meals are healthier with less preservatives and taste good and their cheese is unbelievable...I'm a bit of a cheese fanatic, though. :)

I have one by my work but it's kind of small there is a big one in Tyngsboro, my dad just emailed them the other day saying WHY AREN'T YOU IN NEW HAMPSHIRE!!!! Because it's kind of a pain having todrive up to Tyngsboro to go to the one there and like I said the one by my work is kind of dinky. But I too love TJ's their raw almonds are fantastic!

Oh, all of their nuts and dried fruits are good! I love the candied pecans, they're so good on salads...

Yeah, the only bad thing about Trader Joe's is that some of them are tiny, like the one in downtown Boston (thought I suppose that's to be expected) and some unknown person randomly chooses what produce they carry, so it's impossible to do all of your food shopping there. The ones in Brookline (my favorite) and Cambridge are great though...cheap (good!) wine will always bring me in! :)

I believe anorexics severely limit their caloric intake and do in fact lose weight so C2Shiningwhatever is not wrong. I'm not saying that's the way to go but it does indeed work.
