I want my mommy

Do you ever have those times when you're so stressed...so pressed for time with no motivation to make the most of it...that you just want to revert back to those days when you just wailed and mommy came to comfort you?

"Now, if I could just figure out how to get my class to be good while I take a nap...."
You could always send them off to another teacher... or give them an extended recess... or give them naptime too...
As for the stress... I knew teachers who would be sick the week before we got out for vacation... and be miraculously recovered in January.

Girl, I know what you mean! Sometimes I wish I could go back to my childhood where things seemed much simpler, you know? Here lately I feel like there isn't enough of me to go around. I've actually stayed home from work the past two days because I've been sick. But you know, ever since I started this job in February, I haven't used any of my vacation/sick time and already have about 15 days built up and haven't even touched it. I felt bad for staying home sick but you know what, I don't care. I haven't missed a day of work since I started working there in February and if everyone else can take time off from work to go on vacation and call in sick, then so can I. Of course I don't abuse it, but you know what I mean. Heck, if I'm sick, I'm staying home lol.
Sometimes we have to slow down in life, take a deep breath, and regroup. But yeah, here lately I've felt like pulling my hair out..
I do the SAME thing, I always feel so guilty for staying home!
I remember finals week.
