I am not being dramatic, but I have reached the unsavory conclusion that the Fourth Great Love of my life, whose loss brought me to this site more than a year ago now, is likely to be the Last Love of my life.

I don't know if love will ever find you again, but I can tell you that being alone isn't the worst thing that can happen to a person. I have 8 years experience. I'm not sitting at home sharing bon bons with my cats (don't own any) and listening to Adelle every evening, either. Life is pretty good. I miss being in love sometimes, but sometimes, I don't miss it so much. Don't give up on love, though. Love is all around you. I know, it's cheesy, but it's true.
