I'm bored

Its spring break this week and it's supposed to rain every single day. Rained yesterday. Raining today. I was planning on cleaning out my garage today, but I'm not sure that's gonna happen. I'm feeling so unmotivated!

My dvr is half full, so I decided to watch some of it. I am so NOT impressed with American Idol this year. I had three episodes recorded and I'm ready to cancel the recording after watching just three performances. I think it's because they are all so young.

I might head out to find some new running shoes today. Mine aren't really worn out, but I have a toenail that keeps falling off so I'm going to go search for a pair that has more room for my toes.

And that's my day. So not exciting!

Oh, the house definitely needs cleaned. That's for sure. I just don't wanna do it!! I did fold some laundry this morning. Dishes are in the dishwasher. Maybe I'll go look for the shoes, and getting out will make me more motivated. It doesn't help that I had to take benadryl this morning. It doesn't usually make me groggy, but lately it has been.

I took a Zyrtek last night before going to sleep and it's all I can do to make my appendages work correctly today! I don't think I'll ever do that again. I thought I'd sleep off the lethargy but nooo...back to the liver killer, Advil Cold & Sinus, for now.

I take Zyrtec every day for seasonal allergies. I don't think it makes me sleepy, but I could be wrong. The Benadryl was for an allergic reaction to something- I don't know what- that I get occasionally. I'm thinking that maybe if I give in and nap for a bit, I'll be more motivated to do something.

Do you have any museums in your area or historical sights that would be good to visit on a rainy day?

I'm staying home all day trying to write my damned thesis, it's so boring ! We're having record high temperatures in the East of Canada and I feel bad getting out because I should be doing this. And when I'm bored, I eat and not just anything, but desserts, arrrhhh !

Going to the gym is the only thing that helps me keep my sanity. I hope my son won't have a tantrum tonight !

I'm having some yogurt right now - Chobani, my new favorite- which will really fill me up. I took a nap, and after I'm done eating I might head out to the shoe store since I'm a bit less foggy now. This is supposed to be an off day for me running, but I might do it anyway. My legs are kinda sore/tired, but oh we'll.

Anita- I don't think I'd get a thing written on a day like this if I were you! I hope your son doesn't have a tantrum, too!

Julia, I'm the same way. I'm not a museum kinda person, and although a road trip would be nice, gas is too high and it wouldn't be too fun to stay somewhere alone.

I am going out tomorrow. I'm trying to lose weight so I'm trying to limit my dinners out and alcohol. Although since it doesn't seem to be working, I'm ready to say "screw it" and have something very bad for me.

You're right--everybody has their own things and sometimes you just want to stay in the house & read a book.
