Oh boy - I had to laugh a little. That sounds terrible as I'm sure you're not used to that kind of traffic but, try living in the Washington, D.C. area. Now the "suburbs of DC" extend about 75 miles in every direction and people actually travel that far for work every day! Just traveling about 25 miles from where I live could take as long as 1 1/2 hours in the morning any time between 5:45 and 10:00am...then coming home just as long, if not longer any time between 2:45 and 8:00pm!! It sucksssssssssss.....so I feel for you!

Lord - I remember - and not so long ago either - when if you saw 2 cars on 29 on a Sunday morning, that was heavy traffic.

I have a friend who leaves Middleburg at 4:30 AM to get into DC for work.

And silly me - I'm looking to move there. LOL

Well, I'd invite you to come to Nashville but we're going through the same thing and get this, we don't have a subway. I think it's time. We have one train. One. When I lived downtown, I was literally 3 to 4 miles from work. It took me half an hour to get there. On a Sunday, later in the evening, I could get there in less than five minutes.

I loved your McMansion, how did you come up with that? Funny. I now live about 40 minutes outside of Nashville and I kid you not, I counted 4 new developments within a five mile radius. Where I live was once referred to as "the country". Not anymore. Crazy.

You know, I lived within minutes of there and have never been? They are famous for their biscuits too. I'll have have to go check it out! If/when I do, and there's any way to get it to you, w/o it going bad, LOL, I'd glady fed-ex it ; ) My best friends husband Fed Exes salad dressing to his aunt in Florida from the Calypso Cafe all the time.

I can't take credit for "McMansion" - I actually read it somewhere, or heard it somewhere - it's what people call those ridiculously big houses that people build instead of just building a "regular-sized" house.

Traffic where I am in the morning isn't that bad, but that's because I actually live IN the city and work in the suburbs.

That would be awesome!!! Hey, we ship semen all over the world, I can't imagine that a little bar-b-que would be beyond Fedx. LOL

You really should eat there - and the little shops have the cutest stuff. I brought home some Tennessee Teacakes and they didn't last very long - my son tore into them. I keep meaning to order more.

Nah - that word's been around a lot longer than the OC has been on the air.
