I met this guy last weekend and I'm not sure what to do. We're both in college, and we met at a party hosted by a mutual friend. We ended up hanging out for hours (until 7am!), just talking about random things and enjoying each other's company. All we did was make out a little, so I don't think this was just a random hookup. We had a great time, and he got my number before he dropped me off and said he'd call me the next day.

Well, he did call me the next day, at about 1am (which is pretty normal for a college student, I must say), and I missed his calls because I was out with some friends and didn't hear my phone ring. For the next couple of days, we texted back and forth, but I haven't heard from him in a few days and we have yet to make definite plans to see each other again.

So...my question is, should I try to call him again and make plans, or release him to the Island of Lost Men, as I like to call it?

I usually wouldn't even be concerned with this kinda thing--if the guy doesn't wanna make plans, I move on. But I felt a real connection with this guy, and I would like to see him again. That said, I don't wanna be THAT girl, the one who can't take a hint and keeps calling. So...any advice? I was thinking of giving him a couple more days to call me and then sending a flirty text message (a total cop-out, I know). What should I do?

I'd call him. Once. Then if he doesn't answer or call back, release him (I like the Island of Lost Men, by the way). :)

I am with you, one phone call does not "one of those girls" make. (-;
Never look back and say "what if" . .. one call . .at least you know YOU gave it a shot. (-:
