Does anyone else feel the need to change tons of stuff once they get dumped?

If it makes you feel better, when I got dumped (finding out 2nd hand that he was engaged to someone else), I moved - 1/2 across the country.
New home, new job, new car.

Shy- I'm just catching up around here. Sorry to hear of your break up, they truly do sucketh. If I could, I'd fly there and hug you. And then go drink Tequila. :)
I do know what you mean about needing a change. I think furniture rearranging and hair are the first places I start. :)
If you do decide to look into buying a townhome, there are a lot of programs (like first time home buyers benefits) that can help make it more affordable than you think. Also, when you move into a new place you can paint and that's always a good "moving on" exercise (in my opinion).
I'm kind of doing the same thing, like yesterday when I came home from staying at my friends house (the one that said boy lives at too) I felt great about things, was in a really good mood, and had all of this motivation. I worked out, cleaned, caught up on client paperwork, took a relaxing bath, gave myself a manicure, repotted plants, finished laundry, etc.
Of course I woke up this morning feeling crummy again...but I'm just reminding myself that whatever is meant to be will be and there is something bigger and better out there for me.
Of course what I want to do more then anything is run out and buy a house and now is the perfect time, except I don't have $150,000 lying around for a mortgage....
After I was dumped last year, I promptly went out and had 12 inches cut off of my hair, I think a lot of it was because the guy didn't want me to and loved my long hair, ha.
